Realizing that acoustics, audio, and audio-visual systems are support functions for the total enterprise, we will determine their scope and scale through an understanding of the needs of the project. This perspective is obtained through meetings with the client's representatives, users of the systems, and other members of the project team.
While our designs will very often be at the leading edge of technical and artistic developments, they are not tied to fashionable trends. Many projects demand, and can support, "state of the art" systems. However, others require an approach that is simply well designed, functional, and reliable. Most lie in a middle ground where innovative designs and recent developments are integrated in a creative way with more established main stream engineering principles. Regardless of the projects scale, it will benefit from a serious and thoughtful design process. Our willingness and ability to "think outside the box" allows greater freedom for the design team, tailoring the project needs in a real world scenario.
We understand that timely communication between all participants is fundamental to a project's success. From our first involvement, we will work to establish and maintain that communication through meetings and written documents with all members of the team. Early on, we will generate drawings and other documents to express our design concepts, suggesting how those audio and perhaps video and IT systems as well, might interact with other design elements. Throughout the course of the project, we will attend coordination meetings to continue the communication and reporting process.
To meet the needs of the client we also believe in open cooperation within the industry and work towards building a long term positive relationship between the client and the technical systems contractor / vendor that will be to the mutual benefit of all concerned.
